Roger Ames is an American Anglican priest born on December 7, 1942. He is the first bishop of the Anglican Diocese of the Great Lakes in the ACNA. Initially serving as a suffragan bishop, he contributed to church planting and brought congregations to the CANA. Roger studied at the Seabury-Western Theological Seminary and was ordained in 1977. He served at Christ Church and St. Luke's Anglican Church for over 20 years before becoming a bishop. He remained active in church leadership until 2016 and has a family with two adult children and three grandchildren.
