Roger G. Ishee was an American petroleum engineer and politician born on March 25, 1930, in Dushua, Mississippi. He served in the United States Air Force from 1948 to 1953 and earned a bachelor's degree in petroleum engineering from Louisiana State University. Ishee had a career in the oil industry and was a civilian instructor for the Air Force, later becoming general manager at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens. He was a member of the Mississippi House of Representatives from 1997 to 2012. Ishee passed away on June 21, 2015.
