Roger Asakil Joya is a Filipino chef and businessman, known for operating the Michelin-starred sushi restaurant Sabi Omakase in Stavanger, Norway. He is a co-owner of 20 restaurants under the Sabi name across Norway. Joya moved to Norway at the age of 17 after his father was married to a Norwegian woman. Prior to founding Sabi Omakase in 2011, he worked at Alex Sushi in Oslo. He also participated in the World Sushi Championship in 2016.
