Roger Parry (1905 - 1977) was a French photographer and illustrator who participated in the surrealist movement. He studied decorative arts from 1923 to 1925 and worked as an assistant to Maurice Tabard, creating his first photographs in 1929. His notable works include illustrating Léon-Paul Fargue's poems in 1930 for 'Banalité'. Parry also traveled to Africa and Tahiti, producing documentary work exemplified by 'Tahiti: 106 photos de R. Parry' published in 1934. He later collaborated with publishers such as Nouvelle Revue Française on various illustrated texts.
