Roger Ryberg is a notable Norwegian politician affiliated with the Labour Party, born on April 16, 1952, in Kirkenes. He served as the county mayor of Viken from 2020 to 2023 and had earlier tenures as the county mayor of Buskerud from 2007 to 2011 and 2015 to 2019. Ryberg was also a deputy representative in the Norwegian Parliament from Buskerud during 1989-1993 and previously held the position of mayor of Hurum municipality. He chose not to seek re-election in 2023 as Viken was set to be dissolved.
