Roland Lehoucq is a prominent astrophysicist at the CEA, educator, and popular science writer born in 1965 in Issy-les-Moulineaux. He is well-known for his books 'Where Do Superman's Powers Come From?' and 'Making Science with Star Wars.' In 1998, he was honored by the International Astronomical Union with the naming of asteroid 31387 Lehoucq. He received the Jean Perrin prize in 2004 for his successful science communication efforts. Since 2012, he has chaired the science fiction festival Utopiales in Nantes, and in 2019, he was the scientific advisor for the video game 'Le prisonnier quantique.'
