Romeo Toffanetti is an Italian comic book artist born on September 23, 1963, in Buenos Aires, Argentina. He moved to Italy at a young age and began illustrating children's books. In 1985, he debuted in comics with a story for Orient Express. He gained prominence with the creation of 'Alex il Britanno' in 1988, and in 1989, he started working for Sergio Bonelli Editore on 'Nathan Never'. Toffanetti is also a filmmaker, with works including 'L’ultimo spettacolo', 'Rockstalghia', and the award-winning short '5'.
