Romy Lindner is a German long-distance runner born on September 28, 1967. She achieved significant success in marathons, finishing fifth in the Frankfurt Marathon in 1993 and becoming the second in the German Marathon Championship the following year. Lindner won the German Marathon Championship in 1995 at the Hamburg Marathon and captured her second national title in mountain running in 1998. She has multiple victories at the GutsMuths Rennsteiglauf and the Göltzschtal-Marathon, where she also holds course records. She started her career with SV Blau-Weiß Auerbach before joining LAC Chemnitz and is currently with VfB Lengenfeld.
