Ronald Clayton Cease is an American politician born on March 3, 1931, in Britton, South Dakota. He served in the Oregon House of Representatives and Oregon State Senate. Cease attended the Vanport Extension Center, which later became Portland State University, where he also worked as a professor of Public Administration and Political Science from 1966 until 2000. Beyond his political career, he was involved with the Oregon Department of Forestry's Committee for Family Forestlands from 2001 to 2008. His wife, Jane Cease, was also a state legislator.
