Ron Chisholm is a Canadian politician who served as a member of the Nova Scotia House of Assembly from 1999 to 2009, representing the Progressive Conservative Party. He was first elected in 1999 after defeating incumbent Ray White and was re-elected in 2003 and 2006. Chisholm held positions as Minister of Agriculture and Minister of Fisheries and Aquaculture during his time in office. Prior to his political career, he was a machine operator and union leader and also served as a municipal councillor.
