Ronald John Woodley was an English Anglican priest and Archdeacon of Cleveland from 1985 to 1991. Born on 28 December 1925 in Edmonton, London, he received his education from St Augustine's College and Bishops' College. Woodley was ordained as a Deacon in 1953 and as a Priest a year later. He served as Vicar of The Ascension in Middlesbrough and later as Rector of Stokesley. His tenure as Canon of York lasted from 1982 until 2000, marking significant roles in the church throughout his career.
