Rona Ellen Glynn was a pioneering Indigenous Australian school teacher and nurse in Alice Springs, Northern Territory. She was born on 24 September 1936 and became the first Aboriginal woman to have a pre-school named after her in Australia in 1965. Briefly known as Rona Schaber after her marriage, she made significant contributions to education and healthcare for Indigenous Australians before her death on 4 January 1965.
