Ingram Chair in Engineering at Vanderbilt University, where he is involved with the Radiation Effects and Reliability Group. His research focuses on the impact of radiation on semiconductor devices and integrated circuits. Schrimpf is also the Director of the Institute for Space and Defense Electronics at Vanderbilt, with notable contributions to ionizing radiation response in Bipolar Junction Transistors and Enhanced Low Dose Rate Sensitivity in BJTs.
