Ronald James Rábago is a retired rear admiral of the United States Coast Guard. In 2006, he made history as the first individual of Hispanic American descent to achieve flag rank in the Coast Guard. Throughout his distinguished career, he served in various capacities, culminating in his role as the assistant commandant for engineering and logistics, as well as the chief engineer of the Coast Guard, before retiring in 2014.
