Ronald Edwin Richards was an Australian Anglican bishop who served as the fifth Bishop of Bendigo from 1957 until 1974. Born in Ballarat on October 25, 1908, he was educated at Ballarat High School and the University of Melbourne. Ordained in 1933, he served in various roles including a chaplain during World War II. After the war, he was the Vicar of Warrnambool and later became Archdeacon of Ballarat before his episcopal ordination.
