Ronnie Platt is an American singer, born on February 24, 1962, best known as the lead singer of the rock band Kansas. He took over from Steve Walsh in 2014 and has contributed to the band's music since then, including his work on the 2016 album 'The Prelude Implicit'. Before joining Kansas, Platt was the lead singer for Shooting Star since 2007 and had experience performing with various cover bands in Chicago. He previously worked as a truck driver before pursuing his music career.
