Ronnie Ruysdael, born Jan Rabbers in Dalen in 1963, is a Dutch singer and actor known for his distinctive sideburns, golden teeth, and elaborate glitter costumes. He is often referred to as 'De Koning van de Polonaise'. From 1991 to 2009, he was the frontman of the party band De Sjonnies, alongside brothers Geert and Guus Peeters, achieving numerous hits from 1990 to 2010, including 'Dans je de hele nacht met mij', 'Blauw van de sangria', and 'Zwemmen zonder slip'. Later, he pursued a solo career, though he did not achieve the same chart success.
