Roser Berdagué Costa is a Catalan translator born in Montcada i Reixac in 1929. She holds a degree in Philosophy and Letters, specializing in Modern Philology with a focus on English. Berdagué began her professional career in 1950 and became an independent translator in 1962. Over her lifetime, she has translated around 350 works from English, French, and Italian into Spanish and Catalan, alongside editing literary translations. In 2009, she was awarded the National Prize for the Work of a Translator by the Spanish Government for her extensive contributions.
