Roslyn L. Schulte was a United States Air Force officer who was killed in action during the U.S. war in Afghanistan. Born on March 4, 1984, she made history as the first female graduate of the United States Air Force Academy to be killed by enemy action and the second female graduate killed in action overall. Her bravery and service were honored posthumously with the National Intelligence Medal for Valor and the Hawaii Medal of Honor.
