Ross Clarke-Jones is an Australian big wave surfer known for his love of massive waves and accomplishments in surfing. He gained prominence for riding notorious waves, including the giant Outside Log Cabins in Hawaii. Clarke-Jones, nicknamed 'Dark Bones' and 'RCJ', was the first non-Hawaiian to win the Eddie Aikau Big Wave contest in 2001. He has also participated in various big wave events globally and appeared in the sixth season of Australian Survivor, where he was medically evacuated after an injury.
