Rossella Giglio is an Italian classical archaeologist born on April 17, 1955, in Marsala. Since 2009, she has gained recognition for her work related to excavations in the Trapani province on Sicily's west coast. She has been the head of the Archaeology Unit since July 2007, overseeing archaeological sites, including those on the island of Mozia, owned by the Fondazione Giuseppe Whitaker in Palermo.
