Rothindra Nath Goswami is an Assamese geologist, children's author, and writer of science, fiction, and travel stories. He made his mark in children's literature through the Assamese journal Mouchak. Goswami created a fictional character named 'Chiching' in this magazine and is known for his travel story 'Bidesi Bandhur Desat.' His first book, 'Hobi,' published in 1995, was the first Assamese book about hobbies. He also wrote the science-fiction book 'Kinkini's Uprising,' along with other notable works.
