Following a motorcycle accident in 2001 that resulted in C5/6 Quadriplegia, he competed actively from 2003 to 2010. Over his career, he achieved significant success, securing five gold medals, four silver medals, and three bronze medals at the Australian Championships, as well as triumphs in the European Handbike Circuit across various countries including Switzerland, France, and Italy.
