Roy Arad is a young Israeli poet and musician, born in 1977. He is an editor of the Maayan poetry journal and writes both political and non-political poetry. Arad has edited and published anthologies such as 'Adomah' which focuses on leftist poetry, and 'Latze' which was released earlier this year in protest against the Israeli war on Gaza. His poetry collections include 'The Black Man', published in 2000, and 'Aerobic', published in 2003.
