Rubana Huq is a Bangladeshi businesswoman, academic, and poet born on February 9, 1964. Since February 2022, she has served as the Vice-Chancellor of the Asian University for Women (AUW). She is the chairperson of Mohammadi Group, a Bangladeshi conglomerate in the garment industry. From 2019 to 2021, she was elected as the first female president of the Bangladesh Garment Manufacturers and Exporters Association. Huq has been recognized in the BBC 100 Women list in both 2013 and 2014.
