Rubén Darío Millatureo Vargas, known as The Jackal of Queilén, is a Chilean serial killer born on May 3, 1962. He gained notoriety for murdering three individuals in Queilén between 1997 and 1998. Initially sentenced to death, his punishment was later reduced to life imprisonment with the possibility of parole after 20 years. Millatureo served his time and was released in 2018, following the completion of the minimum sentence required for parole.
