Rudi Köppen, originally Rudolf Köppen, is a former German high jumper born on February 5, 1943, in Rathenow, Germany. He competed for East Germany (DDR) and placed 19th at the 1964 Tokyo Olympics. He achieved fourth place at the 1969 European Indoor Games in Belgrade and became DDR champion in 1967 and 1968. Köppen also secured DDR indoor championship titles in 1964 and 1969. His personal best of 2.18 meters was achieved on June 19, 1969, in Berlin.
