Rudy Bladel, known as The Railway Killer, was an American serial killer responsible for the murders of seven railway employees in the Rust Belt region between 1963 and 1978. He was convicted of three murders and subsequently sentenced to life imprisonment. Bladel's crimes were notorious, haunting a specific industry, and he became a figure of infamy. He ultimately died from thyroid cancer in 2006 while serving his sentence.
