Ruffin Horne McNeill Jr. is an American football coach and former player born on October 8, 1958. He currently works as the special assistant to the head coach at NC State University. McNeill has an extensive coaching background, having served at the University of Oklahoma and the University of Virginia as an assistant head coach. He was the head coach of the East Carolina Pirates from 2010 to 2015 and previously held various roles with the Texas Tech Red Raiders, including interim head coach when Mike Leach was suspended.
