Major General Ruhul Alam Chowdhury (born August 24, 1947 - died March 20, 2021) was a retired Bangladeshi military officer and served as the Vice Chairman of the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP). He held the advisory role in the caretaker government led by Yajuddin Ahmed in 2006, overseeing the ministries of communications, food, energy and mineral resources, and the Ministry of Chittagong Hill Tracts Affairs.
