Lars Rune Rydelius is a Swedish sculptor born on February 21, 1946, in Hofors. He was raised in Hofors and worked as a newspaper illustrator for Arbetarbladet in Gävle during the 1960s. Rydelius studied at Konstfack in Stockholm from 1965 to 1970 and at the Royal Institute of Art from 1970 to 1975. He has received various accolades, including the K. A. Linds honorary award from the Friends of Moderna Museet in 1980, and has been a member of the Royal Academy of Fine Arts since 2003.
