Russ Wetmore is an American programmer and video game designer known for his work on Atari 8-bit computer games in the early to mid-1980s. He gained recognition for his game Preppie!, which was inspired by Frogger and received acclaim for its music and visuals. He also developed Preppie! II and later shifted focus to software development roles, notably creating the HomePak productivity suite after the video game crash in 1983.
