Ruth Martin-Jones, born on January 28, 1947, in Criccieth, is a former British long jumper, pentathlete, and sprinter. Competing for Wales, she secured 6th place in both the pentathlon and the 4x100 meter relay at the 1970 British Commonwealth Games, and finished 9th in long jump. She participated in the 1972 Olympics but did not advance past qualifications. Martin-Jones earned a bronze medal in long jump at the 1974 Commonwealth Games and had several national titles, including English and Welsh championships in long jump and pentathlon.
