Ryland Harp 'Taffy' Milner was an American football and basketball coach, noted for his long tenure as head football coach at Northwest Missouri State College from 1937-1957. He achieved a record of 91–62–13 over 21 seasons. Additionally, he served as head basketball coach at the same institution from 1943 to 1950, with a record of 67–60. Milner later became the athletic director at Northwest Missouri State from 1958 to 1975. He was an alumnus and athlete at the school, having lettered in both football and basketball.
