He is the leader of the Himavanti Brotherhood and a former leader of the Western Sufi Order. Matuszewski founded his own religious movement that integrates elements of Indian Sufism, Reiki, Shaivism, meditation, Judeo-Christian mysticism, and psychotronics. He claims to be initiated in several significant Indian yoga and tantra systems, primarily learning from teachers of Kashmiri Shaivism.
