Ryszard S. Romaniuk, born on May 8, 1952, in Koźmin Wielkopolski, is a Polish scientist and electronics engineer. He holds a professorship in technical sciences and serves as an academic lecturer at the Warsaw University of Technology. He is the director of the Institute of Electronic Systems in the Faculty of Electronics and Information Technology at the same university. Romaniuk is a Fellow of SPIE and a Senior Member of IEEE, as well as the Scientific Secretary of the Electronics and Telecommunications Committee of the Polish Academy of Sciences. His areas of specialization include photonics, electronic measurement systems, and Internet engineering.
