S. D. Shibulal, born on March 1, 1955, is a prominent Indian business executive, known for his role as the chief executive officer and managing director of Infosys. He is one of the seven founding members of the company. After serving in this role for many years, he stepped down on July 31, 2014, and was succeeded by Dr. Vishal Sikka, the first non-founder CEO of Infosys. In 2015, he also took on the role of president of the Infosys Science Foundation.
