Sekharipuram Narayaniyer Seshadri (1937–1986) was an accomplished Indian control engineer renowned for his contributions to control systems in satellite communication and earth stations. He played a crucial role at the Bhabha Atomic Research Centre, heading the Reactor Control Division and establishing control systems for significant projects like the Satellite Receiving Station at Arvi and the Ooty Radio Telescope. In addition to his engineering achievements, Seshadri was awarded the Shanti Swarup Bhatnagar Prize in 1978 and was an elected fellow of the Indian Academy of Sciences. He passed away at the age of 48.
