Şaban Dişli, born on February 22, 1958, in Geyve, Sakarya, is a well-known Turkish politician. He is a founding member of the Justice and Development Party and served as its vice president. Currently, he holds the position of Chairman as an advisor. In September 2018, he was appointed as the Turkish ambassador to the Kingdom of the Netherlands and as the Permanent Representative to the Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons. He is married and has three children, and he is the brother of Mehmet Dişli, associated with the Gülen movement.
