He is a member of Yoshimoto Kogyo's Osaka headquarters and is well-known in the entertainment industry. His real name is Shūji Ashida, and he was once known by the stage name Taihei Saburō. Saburō is referred to as 'Saburō Master' by younger comedians and is affectionately called 'Saburō Brother' by Tomi's and High Heel, as well as 'Sabuyan' by other notable figures in entertainment.
