Sadeq Sayeed, born in 1953, is a British banker and businessman originally from Pakistan. He played a significant role in Nomura's acquisition of Lehman Brothers' EMEA businesses in October 2008. After serving as CEO of these businesses from November 2008 to February 2009, he became the CEO of Nomura International plc until his retirement in June 2010. Additionally, he chaired Metage Capital Limited until March 2019 and was involved with JS Investments Ltd and Silk Bank Ltd.
