Sadiqul Khairi was an Indian born Pakistani Urdu novelist, playwright, and translator. Born on May 11, 1915, in Delhi, he was the son of the prominent Urdu writer Allama Rashid Al-Khairi, and he had a younger brother named Razzaq Al-Khairi. Khairi contributed significantly to Urdu literature through his works in fiction and drama until his passing on January 26, 1989, in Karachi, Sindh.
