Safi Urrehman Qureshey is a Pakistani-American entrepreneur known for co-founding AST Research, a successful PC manufacturer acquired by Samsung in 1997. He holds a BS in electrical engineering from the University of Texas at Arlington and has been involved with various tech start-ups as an advisor and investor. Additionally, he is a Regent's Professor at UCI and established the Safi Qureshey Foundation for underserved populations. Notably, Qureshey has played a role in government, serving on Arnold Schwarzenegger's transition team and as a member of President Clinton's Export Council.
