Ellen Saga Elfrida Ekström (1902–1997) was a Swedish painter, known for her work in the field of public art. Born in Eskilstuna, she studied painting at Barths målarskola in Stockholm. Notably, she decorated the Vadstena parish hall and, along with her husband Torsten Hjelm, contributed to the artistic restoration of the Skillingaryd church in 1981. Her artworks are represented in Luleå museum and Kalmar museum. Ekström was married to artist Torsten Hjelm from 1957 until her passing. The couple is interred at Nya kyrkogården in Nyköping.
