Saghar Nizami (1905–1983), also known as Samad Yar Khan, was an eminent Indian poet and writer of Urdu ghazals and nazms. He was a prominent disciple of Seemab Akbarabadi and made significant contributions to Urdu literature. In recognition of his literary achievements, he was awarded the Padma Bhushan, one of India's highest civilian honors, in 1969. His works reflect the richness of Urdu poetry and have earned him a lasting legacy in the literary world.
