Şahlar Şükürov was an Azerbaijani national hero born on May 17, 1952, in Zülfüqarlı, Kelbajar district. He is known for his bravery during the Karabakh War and is commemorated as a martyr. His contributions to Azerbaijan’s military efforts in the conflict have earned him recognition as one of the country's heroes. Unfortunately, he lost his life on May 8, 1990, in Mardakert. His legacy lives on through the memory of his sacrifice for his country.
