Saleh al Aridi (February 5, 1957 - September 10, 2008) was a Lebanese politician and a founding leader of the Democratic Lebanese Party led by Prince Talal Arslan. He was the son of Sheikh Abu Saleh Farhan al Aridi, a prominent Druze spiritual leader. Al Aridi and Prince Talal are credited with saving the mountains and Lebanon from the civil war in 2008. He was assassinated in a car bomb explosion near his home in Baisour, a village in the Aley District of Mount Lebanon.
