Salla Paajanen is a Finnish journalist born on October 17, 1964, in Kouvola. She served as a reporter and presenter for the current affairs program Ajankohtainen kakkonen on Yle TV2 from 1996 to 2015. After that, she was one of the hosts of Yle's regional television news until 2022, when she was let go. Before her two-decade tenure at Ajankohtainen kakkonen, Paajanen worked for eight years in news and current affairs at Mainostelevision. She graduated in 2017 with a Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences from Tampere University, majoring in journalism and communication.
