Salma Agha is a British-Indian singer and actress born on October 25, 1956, in Karachi, Pakistan. She gained prominence in the 1980s and early 1990s through her work in Indian films. Agha moved to London during her childhood and received several offers from Indian filmmakers. Her debut film was the romantic drama 'Nika' (1982), where she starred and performed songs herself, earning nominations for Filmfare Awards. She is also well-known for her role in 'Kasam Paida Karne Wale Ki' (1984) alongside Mithun Chakraborty and her popular song 'Come Closer' from the film.
