Salme Parming was an Estonian rhythmic gymnast, coach, photographer, and activist in the USA. Born on March 28, 1919, in Pärnu, she trained elite gymnasts and contributed to their performances. After moving to the USA in 1949, she continued her involvement in gymnastics and photography, working with Estonian newspapers in emigration. Notably, she participated in the first Estonian Games in 1934 and won the Estonian Championship in group gymnastics in 1937. Parming passed away on September 26, 2013, in New Jersey.
